You probably remember this is my favorite fruit salad. Easy to make, very tasty and very healthy. Do you have one in your fridge already?
Ingredients
- 3 apples cubed
- 3 pears cubed (today I used mango instead)
- 2 bananas sliced
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- juice from 4 oranges (orange juice from a box not as good but OK)
- juice from 5-6 mandarines (OK if you omit)
How to make: Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl and refrigerate. The fruit must swim in the juice as in the photo. Serve cool. Optionally, you can serve with oat flakes and cinnamon.
Eleni, where do you find pomegranates this time of year??? I have looked everywhere!
Mary-Angela
Frozen from Trader Joe’s. Did you look there?
No, it did not occur to me that they exist in frozen form. Thanks for the tip!
