Fruit salad with yogurt

Breakfast, snack, dessert, call it what you like. This is another healthy treat I tried from Nigella Express.  I just love these recipes. Easy to put together, very healthy and looking awesome.  They always put happy smiles on my kids’ faces. And mine. I won’t give you quantities for this recipe. It all depends on how many you want to make and you can play with the thickness of each layer. Be your own judge.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • chopped strawberries
  • pomegranate juice
  • mango or pine apple
  • blueberries
  • vanilla or strawberry yogurt
  • seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)

How to make: First make a strawberry layer and add 1 teaspoon pomegranate juice. I’m sure cranberry juice will also be fine. Make the strawberry layer your thickest. Add a layer of mango or pine apple chunks. Add a layer of blueberries. Add 2-3 tablespoons vanilla or strawberry yogurt. Top with seeds. I only had sesame seeds.  You can see them in the photo below.
