It’s the season. You’ll have friends and relatives over and you probably have the menu ready. But have you thought about salad dressings? Ready-made salad dressing for the salad on the holiday table is no-go. Here’s my favorite dressing for a salad of greens, from Vicky. I love the freshness of the mint in the greens.
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard (mild)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dry mint
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How to make: Put all the ingredients in a shaker or blender and blend until they are well mixed. Toss a salad of greens with it and save the rest in the fridge for a week.
