These cookies are small but magical. You can use the same dough that you use for the cookies you make for your kids to decorate but save some for grown-ups to enjoy. The crucial tool to make these cuties is the Wilton pro cookie press. The rest is easy. When you use the dispenser, you need to be sure to press the top gently, and while still pressing, release the handle quickly. I love these cookies and the taste is addictive! I got the recipe from their site, adjusted a bit to our liking, and tried it twice already.
Recipe
Ingredients
-
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1 1/2 cups butter softened
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
1 egg
-
2 tablespoons milk
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (OK maybe I put a bit more)
How to make: Combine the flour with the baking powder. Use a mixer to beat the softened butter with the sugar until it’s fluffy and whitish. Add the egg, the milk, and the vanilla extract. Beat a bit more until smooth. Gradually add the flour until it’s all well combined and smooth. Spoon batter in the Wilton cookie press. Press cookies on a cookie pan. I always line the pans with silicon cookie sheets but you don’t have to. Bake at pre-heated over 350F/180C for about 10-12 minutes. Let them cool on a rack and enjoy!
They look lovely! Enjoy the Holiday Season!
