You probably thought that the family treat this past weekend was the banana bread. Not really. The banana bread was a spontaneous Sunday afternoon inspiration. The special treat was strawberry smoothie. This time I used vanilla yogurt instead of plain yogurt and no sugar, no vanilla extract.
Ingredients (generous for 5 people)
- 12 large strawberries
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup of French vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk
How to make: Blend the strawberries with the milk, ice-cream and yogurt. Always check before you serve. Depending on how sweet are the strawberries you may need to add some sugar. Serve!
