You are on Transition Day 2. Which is the same as Transition Day 1. Keep going. While I got some space here, I’m posting the cabbage soup, first introduced in the diet on Induction Day 3. From The 4 Day Diet by Ian Smith.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 onions, diced
- 1 green cabbage, shredded
- 1 1/4 quart chicken broth
- 1 potato, cubed
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 ham hock
- 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- salt, pepper
How to make: In a big pot, heat the oil and saute the onions or about 5 minutes. Add the cabbage and cook for 15 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, cover and cook at low heat for about 50 minutes. Chill for 8 hours, remove the fat from the top, reheat, and serve.
Exercise
40 minutes cardio. Don’t forget!
