I’m glad there’s syrup on the menu today. I don’t know if it’s the heat or simple exhaustion from swimming and taking care of kids or all of the above but I’m feeling low blood pressure and craving something sweet. Another happy coincidence of the day is that my brother is visiting and brought with him several bottles of home-made ice green tea! Right in time for Pace Day 3.
Pace Day 3
- 2 cups of coffee with no more than 1 packet of sugar and 1 tsp of low-fat milk per cup
- 2 pancakes or waffles with no more than 1 tbsp of syrup
- 2 pieces of fruit
- 1 cup of green tea or other types of tea
- 5 oz fish, skinless chicken, or turkey, or lean sirloin
- 1 cup of vegetable soup or chicken noodle soup
- 2 cups green salad with 3 tbsp of low-fat dressing
- 2 servings of cooked vegetables
- 1 diet soda
- unlimited plain water
Exercise: 30 minutes cardio and 20 minutes resistance training
