Bread with Cottage Cheese and Smoked Salmon

The title says it all. Three simple ingredients for a wonderful breakfast or snack.


  • whole-grain or whole-wheat bread
  • low-fat cottage cheese
  • smoked salmon
  • (optional) parsley or dill and  lemon zest

How to make: Toast the bread, spread a layer of low-fat cottage cheese and top with a slice of smoked salmon. Add a leaf of parsley or dill and lemon zest if you have them handy.
