I never thought it would be worth it to make homemade hummus. We have always enjoyed the store-bought varieties. Today I tried (a slight modification of) this recipe, though, and we loved it! The texture is creamy and the taste amazing.
Ingredients
- 2 cans of chickpeas
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (mashed or frozen)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- salt
How to make: Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 🙂
