The 4 Day Diet Pace Day 4


Last Pace Day today. I like it when new foods are introduced on different days. Today’s new addition to the variety is chili.  Being in Greece, though, where chili is not very popular, it would take an extra trip to the super market to get black or red beans so I satisfied myself with beautiful lima beans. The recipe is exactly the same as before only with less liquid.

Pace Day 4

  • 2 cups of coffee with no more than 1 packet sugar or 1 tsp milk per cup
  • one 6 oz low-fat yogurt with your own fresh fruit added if you want
  • 1 sandwich with 3 oz turkey, chicken, or ham, 2 slices of whole grain/wheat bread and 1/2 tsp mayo or 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 servings of fruit
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup green salad with 3 tbsp low-fat dressing
  • 1 cup of chili with or without meat
  • 2 servings of cooked vegetables
  • 1 cup of flavored water
  • unlimited plain water

Exercise: Rest day
